Erbaluce di Caluso Passito Riserva DOC “Venanzia”
100% Erbaluce, native grape variety. It is obtained through an accurate choice of perfectly healthy and loose grapes, as the most suitable to fading.
After fermentation, this wine matures in oak barrels for 54 months and in bottles for at least 6 months before being put in the market.
It is characterized by a strong straw yellow colour, with evident amber reflex in maturation; it has got a broad, highly complex aroma, with hints of dried and syrup fruit, toasted nuances and a sweet, full, harmonious, enveloping taste, with good structure and persistence, with a slight almond aftertaste. It is ideal with Piedmont tradition desserts; pairing with matured and herbs cheese is very interesting. It may also be considered a meditation wine.
